The 2008 schedule of Rok Cup Western Canada took the green last weekend and by all accounts the fourth edition looks to be the best one yet. Erick Schwegler captured the ROK Senior Pole position over fellow Genesis driver Kris Hoffbeck by a margin of only a few thousandths of a second. The Rok Cup Canadian Team has touched ground back in Canada after an eventfull, action packed weekend at the Rok Cup World Finals in Lonato,Italy. This past weekend saw a epic battle as the countries top Rok Cup racers battled at the Canadian National Championships in Edmonton, Alberta. Although the Rok Cup is a CIK/FIA recognized class it was not awarded national status for this event which meant it's final would be held Saturday evening and proved to be a tough act to follow. After a long 10 day trip through northern Italy the Canadian Rok team is back from an experience of a lifetime.
